GOLFING WITH THE GUYS IN MEXICO

While shooting a wedding in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Neal was invited to play golf with the guys at the Vista Vallarta Golf Club. It was designed by Jack Nicklaus.

Neal brought his camera to document the round of golf. A few action shots and some portraits too. Look at how awesome this course was! The mountains in the background were amazing! This was such a great experience for Neal. As you know, one of his passions is golf. So, he was in heaven!

Here is a shot of the group of guys that golfed. The groom, his dad, and some of his guys. What a great way to kick off the wedding events. Even though it was scorching hot, the guys still look fabulous on the course!

DECEMBER LEAVES!

Leaves in December!

Kristin and John had their engagement shoot at Fort Niagara State Park and the Village of Lewiston area. John's kids came along for some family portraits to start off the session! Four boys! Holy cow! But they were awesome and so much fun. For this shot, we had them throw leaves up! We told them to throw them behind Kristin and John. We knew that wasn't going to happen. They were thrown right at Kristin and John and it was perfect. They did such a great job. And they had so much fun with it. They helped to create a beautiful image with so many laughs!

RAIN SHOWERS AT AVANTI MANSION

A little rain never hurt anybody!

Christina and Nick had a rainy night on their wedding at the Avanti Mansion. The party was rockin' inside, so we took them outside really quick for an end of the night shoot. Umbrellas out, lights ready, and Neal in position. We were all set for Christina and Nick. We wanted to get them back into their party as quickly as possible.

Avanti has a nice giant parking area where we could set this up with nothing in the background, except darkness with a hint of trees. The added lights gave an awesome glow on the pavement. Christina and Nick were such great sports too. The wind was starting to pick up and the umbrellas got a little out of control. We had Christina look away and Nick went in for a whisper in her ear. I think the pose adds a bit of drama and mystery to the image. The shot was captured! All done within 2 minutes! I love ending on great images like this.

THE GUYS!

Today's image is of Gus and his guys.

Gus and Balon's wedding was at Holiday Valley in Ellicottville. While the ladies were finishing up hair and makeup, we took the guys for some photos. The lobby was a pretty cool area to work in for them. We moved some tables, set up some chairs and placed all of the groomsmen. Then you can see the 2 little ring bearers. They are actually his nephews. We had each one sit on one of his brothers' laps. All of his guys looked pretty cool. We didn't need to direct them that much. It felt like they had all done this before! All we did was turn it to black and white.

They always say the day is about the bride. But, the groom needs the spotlight too! We always make sure that he is front and center at some point (or more) during the day!

HAPPY SHOE SATURDAY

It is Christian Louboutin shoe Saturday! This is from Cara and Kevin's wedding in Las Vegas at the JW Marriott.

If you know me well, you know I love shoes! Especially fun shoes. So when Christian Louboutin's show up, I am in heaven! It's even better when we add diamonds to them! We love incorporating the ring into shoe shots. I think it is so pretty. In this case, it looked amazing!

NEAL & MARCUS

We needed to sneak in one photo of Marcus!

He came in for a personal project and he was so much fun! He is so much bigger than last time. But he is still a little puppy at heart. All he wanted to do was play with a chew toy and destroy the squeaky inside. Neal asked if I could take a photo of him and Marcus. My pleasure. I have no idea why I didn't get in a photo as well. Next time!

We love this little guy and his owners. They are amazing people and we are so thankful to them for bringing Marcus into Neal Urban Studio again!

Buffalo Christmas Mini Sessions

Here is a compilation of images from day 1 of the Photos for Toys, Christmas Mini Shoot at Neal Urban Studio.

I love everything single one. It was so great to work with these wonderful families. Each family brought in amazing toys for children that may have not received anything for Christmas. Until now! There will be some happy children.

All toy donations will go to the Cradle Beach Organization. We wanted to keep the donations local. We are so thankful for everyone who donated. And we hope you love your photos.

We can't wait until next year to continue growing this event!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NEAL URBAN!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband Neal Urban!

Instead of featuring photos done by Neal, I thought we could show an image with him in it! This was taken from a concert we were at in Glenora, NY a few years ago. It was such a great time to kick back with family and friends and enjoy great music and a lot of wine! Neal brought out some of his country love with his cowboy hat.

I love you more than words can say! I am so proud of the person you are and everything you are striving to be! Thank you for always being true to yourself. To many more years of happiness and fun. I love you!

WOW! What an awesome turnout for our Christmas 2nd Annual "Photos for Toys" Mini shoot special at Neal Urban Studio! We had an incredible turnout!

All toy donations will be donated to the Cradle Beach Organization. We want to thank EVERYONE who came out and supported us and donated toys this year. It was our honor to create beautiful images for the families that participated.

LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON

Look at how cute this image is! Daddy and his little guy.

We had so much fun with this family shoot. They are a family of 4, but we snuck in some solos with daddy and his son (don't worry, mommy got her solos too). They look so great in their matching style plaid shirts. The interaction between them is so fun. I like how the little boy is holding onto daddy and lifting his feet off the stool. He looks like he is holding on for dear life, but with a giant smile!
