MOM HELPING WITH THE WEDDING DRESS

Today we take you back to May 2016! This image is from Katie and Frank's wedding.

Katie got ready at her parents house. And what a gorgeous house it was. Look at how cute the hallway leading upstairs is! I love the color of the walls. The door leading out to a second floor balcony had so much light coming through. It was a great place to hang the dress. Katie's dress fit perfectly there.

We also thought this would be a good image to call mom in to help with the dress. Doesn't she look gorgeous! I just love this!

HARRY POTTER WANDS AND RINGS!

I love this! I am a Harry Potter fan, so this ring shot had to be shown. I know we haven't done too many detail blogs lately, but this was a must. 

Ashley and Scott were Harry Potter fans and told Neal they were bringing their wands for the wedding. How fun! He had to do a ring shot with them. I think that is an Elder Wand!

BOUQUET AND SHOES

Oh how I love wedding details! Kelsey's bouquet and shoes were just beautiful!

Kelsey got ready at Salvatore's Garden Place Hotel. We know there are a lot of places to get awesome reflections at the hotel. It all comes down to my shoe obsession. I am a sucker for some sexy shoes! That's why you keep seeing shoes on the blog! Pair it with the flowers, even better!

Kelsey had some amazing Christian Louboutin's (once again, the wrong size for me). We placed them next to her gorgeous bouquet and added some light to get a great reflection. I absolutely love how the pop of red from the shoes looks! The neutral colors in the flowers are just glowing!

The Wedding Dress at Avanti Mansion

This is one of my new favorite dress images!

This is Christina's wedding dress at the Avanti Mansion. Before her groom arrived, we took the dress into the library for some fun shots. Right when we hung it, we knew it was going to be awesome. The lighting looked so good paired with the color scheme of the room. Just beautiful!

It is Christian Louboutin shoe Saturday! This is from Cara and Kevin's wedding in Las Vegas at the JW Marriott.

If you know me well, you know I love shoes! Especially fun shoes. So when Christian Louboutin's show up, I am in heaven! It's even better when we add diamonds to them! We love incorporating the ring into shoe shots. I think it is so pretty. In this case, it looked amazing!

WEDDING SHOES!!!!!

These are Elizabeth's shoes from her wedding in September! I love her shoes!

This photo is straight out of the camera without any editing! All we did, was put Elizabeth's shoes on one of her coffee tables. Added some light and got an awesome reflection. We also added her engagement ring as well. Detail shots can be really great if you can find a creative idea to incorporate them. When it comes to shoes, you very rarely see them underneath the bride's dress. So we always try to do some fun photos with the shoes during the getting ready portion of the day!

RING SHOT SUNDAY

This ring shot was taken at Melissa and Mary's Wedding!

They both had amazing rings. They had an ombre pink color scheme. We wanted to incorporate come of that color for their rings. We used some pink satin that was part of their table decor and made it have a flowy effect. With some added light, their ring shot was complete!

SHEA'S RING SHOT!

 I love this ring shot! This was from this past weekend's wedding with Julie and Ben. 

Their reception was at Shea's. If you have been there, you know there is unlimited places to use for photos.

Even for the details. We loved the marble bar tops in the main lobby. With the help of some lights and bubbles, we got this amazing image. The hardest part was getting the rings to stand up. Once they were in place, we got a great reflection and it was perfect!

"NEIGHBOR" TABLE NUMBERS!

Dave and Kristine had a "Would you be my Neighbor" themed wedding at Brookfield Country Club. That is how they met. They were neighbors. I loved their table "numbers". Instead of typical numbered seating, they came up with all different TV neighbor stars. For example, this is Cosmo Kramer, from Seinfeld. She also had neighbors like Steve Urkel (Family Matters), Marie Barone (Everybody Loves Raymond), Kimmy Gibbler (Full House). You get the picture.

It was such a creative and clever idea. And it was perfect for Dave and Kristine's background!

There are always different options and ideas to make your wedding different. Be creative. We love it!

SHOE SCONCE SUNDAY!

I love this shoe shot from Laura and Tim's wedding a few years ago. 

Laura got ready at her parent's house. We always take a walk around to scope out the area for shot ideas. They had an amazing house. Neal and I both walked by these light sconces and had the same idea to hang the shoes. We took the picture first without turning the light on. But once we hit the switch it looked really awesome!

I love it!
