Happy Wedding Day Kristi and Adam! Here is one more from their engagement session from Delaware Park!

To continue taking cover from the rain (if you tuned in for yesterday's blog, it was rainy and gloomy for their session), we walked over to the Albright Knox Art Gallery. While Neal was scouting out some different areas of the gallery, I got to sneak in and do a few quick shots with Kristi and Adam. I just asked them to face each other and I shot from a very low angle to get more of the pillars. I literally had about 10 seconds before Neal called them over. But I was very happy that I snapped off a few shots!

Congratulations Kristi and Adam!

FUN IN THE RAIN

Kristi and Adam are getting married on Saturday! We are so excited!

The weather was not 100% on our side for Kristi and Adam's engagement session. We started at Delaware Park and it was sprinkling out and sort of gloomy. We gave them the option to reschedule, but they were up for the challenge. They knew we would get some great images and of course we took advantage of the rain.

We had them take cover under a tree with the Albright Knox Art Gallery in the background. We had them pose behind a section of flowers so some color would be in the foreground. This moment between Kristi and Adam was great. They were just talking and laughing and not even worrying about the rain. During that time, Neal got this shot of them laughing with huge smiles on their faces. What a great moment!

And we did continue to shoot and the weather cleared up for them! You can see one of the images we posted on the blog a while ago that was taken at the Richardson Complex when the clouds broke up.

Happy Wedding Eve!

SAVE THE DATE WITH BOOMER!

Happy Wedding Day Gus and Balon! I just had to post one more image from their engagement session at Knox Farm!

They brought in a board with their date on it and wanted something they could send out for their save the dates. I think they made out pretty good with this shot! Gus and Balon brought their giant dog, Boomer! We loved him! We had them have a seat and had their dog sit in between them. They hung their date board around Boomer and now it was our turn to get his attention. He loved the camera! We got a ton of great images, but this was the keeper!

Congratulations Gus and Balon!

Fields of Love

Gus and Balon are getting married tomorrow!

I love this image from their engagement session at Knox Farm. This pose is always so funny to do. When we explain to our couple's what to do, they always comment to not let their parents see it haha. Yes, Gus and Balon are laying on top of each other. But, we do not take the photo of their entire bodies. It is more of the interaction between them. We always get great images if we do this. There is so much laughing and silliness.

The finished product is definitely worth it. And all of our couples seem to pick it as one of their favorites. Gus and Balon look amazing. The tall grass surrounds them and they look like they are hiding. We asked them to get really close and perfect!

Now it's time to gear up for their wedding!

MIRROR IMAGE

This is another image from Michaela and Aaron's engagement session!

Reflections and mirror images can be so fun when we can find them. Seeing double of a lovely couple is always a great image! I love this because it shows so much passion. Aaron is bringing in Michaela by her chin. But, she is also bringing him in by his arm. You think they are going to kiss, but at the last moment, they pull away. It's such an intimate and romantic image.

I love everything about this. I love the pose! I love their outfits! I love their interaction! I love that you can see it twice!

SPOLIGHT ENGAGEMENT

Chris and Christine had an amazing engagement session a week ago. Here is one that we did in Statler City!

We originally were doing their pictures at Niagara Square. They needed to do an outfit change and the Statler was open. When they came out, they both looked like they belonged on the red carpet. Time for a last minute change!

There are giant spotlights right inside the Statler. When we photograph weddings there, it is so hard to use them. The valet parking attendants take over that area. So, it was a perfect opportunity to take advantage now when nobody was around! We had Chris and Christina look at each other and get really close. I love how dramatic and intimate it is. They both look stunning!

GAME DAY!

Time to get out the beer, pizza, wings, and chips! Most of you are probably gearing up for the big game between the Bills and Patriots. Great day for another Bills photo. This was a shot that Leah took on her engagement shoot with Kristine & Andy.

We had their engagement session at Ralph Wilson Stadium! Leah had them sit near the logo that is right outside of the Retail Store. Instead of shooting straight on, she shot more of a side angle. She captured the whole logo and the couple.

They are huge Bills fans! It was great to capture their images in such a meaningful place to them!

Go Bills!

STREET LIGHT ENGAGEMENT

We did Michaela and Aaron's engagement session Monday at Niagara Square in Buffalo.

We were the only people there, so we could utilize the whole area. And we sure did! We had already done photos with City Hall and the fountain, so it was time to change it up. As it started to get darker, the street lights really stood out. Why not take advantage of them. We had Michaela pull Aaron in by his lapel. The lights in the back ground looked awesome. There were so many and all different colors. They make the perfect back drop for this image!

We can't wait for their wedding next year!

All eyes on Lola the dog!

Here is another image from Chris and Christine's engagement session at Niagara Square.

They brought their dog Lola! She was so cute. I was getting so distracted wanting to play with her. We had Chris and Christine sit on a stone bench. She draped her legs over his. Then we brought in Lola. We told them not to worry about the dog and we'll see what she does. Christine's sister was with us as well with treats for Lola. Once the treat bag was out, Lola was smiling right at us. She really does look like she has a big smile.

I love when people bring their dogs! They can be so much fun to work with and add so much excitement to a shoot!

SUNSET AT NIAGARA SQUARE

Chris and Christine are getting married next year! We had an awesome engagement session with them a few days ago.

This was the last shot of the night! As you can see, we did some of their photos at Niagara Square in Buffalo. Being in the heart of downtown, you do not see too much of a sunset. But the clouds and the coloring of the sky were so pretty. It was nice to see some contrast in a sunset shot with buildings in the background.

After waiting for traffic to pass and taxis to move out of the way, we had Chris and Christine face each other. All we needed to do was add a bit of light on their faces and we were good to go! Well, Neal had to lay on the ground too, to get the right angle. But the shot turned out amazing! They are going to love it!
