WEDDING AT THE ESTATE AT MORAINE FARM

In the beginning of August we traveled to the Boston MA area to photography Rori and Marcs amazing wedding at the Estate at Moraine Farm. What a gorgeous location!

This image was taken at the end of the night. The building behind Rori and Marc is a Tea House. They actually had their ceremony on the opposite side. But they did a first look right in this spot. Isn't it beautiful?

For this image, we definitely had it a little more staged and artistic. It was super dark out. We had to add in back lighting as well as front lighting. Luckily, we still had a little blue in the sky.

We had Rori and Marc glance down. Pretty much to their brand new wedding bands! Pretty simple. Neal shot this really wide to incorporate the entire area. I really like how you can see a bit of Rori and Marc's reflections in the fountain. They actually stand out pretty clear. Then it slowly fades to the Tea House as you look to the bottom part of the fountain.

I love it! Great location! Amazing couple!

WEDDING PARTY AT GENESEE COUNTRY VILLAGE AND MUSEUM

This was my second favorite place at the Genesee Country Village and Museum for Lindsay and Adams wedding! This was called the Livingston-Backus House (soon to be Danielle Urban's house).

This plantation house reminded me of something from Gone with the Wind. We spent a good deal of time at this part of the Village for photos. We got some great images. I love this image of the bridal party here. We lucked out that there were some benches right in front of the white picket fence. I am a little happy that there weren't leaves on that giant tree yet. I like how you can see all of the house. We wouldn't have complained though, if it were full.

I could not imagine if the Village was open to the public during our photo time. It would have been crawling with people and I do not know if we would have been able to capture something like this.

THE AFTERMATH OF SPARKLERS!

If you logged into yesterdays blog, you saw the group image of Ashley and Dan's guests with sparklers. After they cleared out, this was the aftermath!

There were so many sparklers, that it created tons of smoke. It looked really cool. To add to fun, a few family members stayed behind and lit a few more for fun. We had them hold off a few seconds so we could get some of our lighting ready. Once everything was in place, they lit up a few more. Then they started running around everywhere spreading the smoke.

It was great! They helped to create this smoky, but beautiful image of Ashley and Dan. The smoke paired with the color of the sky was amazing!
