STUNNING BRIDES

I am just amazed by how stunning Melissa and Mary are! I can't stop looking at their images. They got married a few weeks ago at the Hotel at Lafayette.

It was so exciting to be able to photograph two different getting ready portions. They both had different rooms and completely different styles of dresses. Hair and makeup were gorgeous. It was hard to not take a good photo. We love shooting at the suites at Hotel Lafayette. They have beautiful giant windows and awesome furniture.

As you can see, we did sitting poses with both Melissa and Mary. But, they are so different. Melissa is a bit more dramatic with holding her dress. Mary is subtle and mysterious. Both rooms had great lighting coming in. Words cannot express how beautiful these ladies were to photograph both inside and out. They were so much fun to work with too!

GROOM & GROOMSMEN AT SHEA'S

Here is another image from Nina and Vinny's wedding!

It was only appropriate that we show an image with Vinny, since Nina was a few days ago! This is Vinny and his groomsmen at Shea's Performing Arts Center. We used the grand staircase for them. There were alot of guys, so the stairs were perfect. Vinny and his guys were great too! Don't they all look like they have done this before? They all look so cool! Turning in black and white made it even better. This photo has that timeless classic look to it almost as if they all belong in the 1930's era.

Fairy Tale Bride

This is Nina on her wedding day! After all the prep and getting ready, Nina looked stunning!

There were giant french doors in the room that we had Nina get dressed in. After moving some furniture, we created an open space for her. Neal needed to get to the church and get the guys, so I stayed behind and did some portraits with Nina. She had a beautiful train and I wanted to show it off. I had her face the french doors and hold her flowers to the side. Then she slightly turned her head over her shoulder. 

Light was pouring into the room from the doors. It was perfect! Nina looked like a fairy tale bride!

BUFFALO BILLS OPENING DAY!

Why not celebrate Buffalo Bills opening day with an image from Leah and Jimmy's wedding! They had their photos done inside of Ralph Wilson Stadium. They are huge Bills fans.

Here is their wedding party running out of the tunnel and onto the field. Don't you love the silhouette? I love how Jimmy is holding up a number 1 symbol! Even their little flower girl and ring bearer had to get in on the action! I think it looks awesome with the colored portion of the stadium in the back ground too.

NIGHT SHOT AT GLEN OAK COUNTRY CLUB

This was taken at the end of the night at Colleen and Wes' wedding! Their wedding and reception was at Glen Oak Country Club.

This image was pretty fun to do. Neal was shooting from the patio above the gazebo. I was below with Colleen and Wes relaying what Neal wanted them to do. It was funny because I couldn't really see Neal and the DJ had the music going pretty loud. It got to the point, where I started to tell Colleen and Wes what I wanted them to do. Good thing I know how Neal's mind works and it was exactly what he was looking for. I guess being married and working together makes us think alike! Pretty scary! But a beautiful image!

Niagara Falls Wedding at St. Joe's

This image is so beautiful! This is Rene'e and Tommy at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph Church. 

After the ceremony and family portraits, we cleared everyone out of the church. We had Rene'e and Tommy head toward the front doors. We made sure the doors were open and no one was in the background. We had Tommy facing us and Rene'e walk up to him slightly off center. Her hand is on his chest and Tommy is bringing her in.

I love this pose for this image. It works so nice with the amazing light that was pouring in behind them.

This style of shot can even be done with Rene'e and Tommy in silhouette. But, it was just more magical with them light and airy!

SHEA'S FIRST DANCE

This is an image from Julie and Ben's first dance at Shea's Performing Arts Center!

It is absolutely beautiful! While everyone was on stage watching the action, Neal went up to the balcony to get the full stage shot! I love how the entire stage is shown, even the detail on the outer arch. I really like how Neal used it to frame everything in. 

I will admit, we did tell Julie and Ben where to dance on the stage. We did have this in mind before they started dancing. That was the only detail we had to tell them! But, if we didn't, it would look funny if they were not in center. 

Everything from the lights to the tables with guests watching, just make this image more amazing!

RAINY NIGHT AT THE STATLER

Hope everyone is enjoying their long Labor Day Weekend! Here is a rainy image from Kelly and Tom's wedding! But don't you love it!

There reception was at the Statler in Buffalo. It was time to take Kelly and Tom outside for some night images. It was not raining when we started. Niagara Square is super close to the Statler, so we took a quick walk over. We got some amazing images there. Right when we were finishing up, it began to rain. Tom took the umbrella and he and Kelly started walking back to the Statler. Little did they know, Neal was still taking images of them walking across the street. There was enough light from the street lights and traffic signals to brighten up the background. 

This was a keeper, just turned black and white!

SUNSET WEDDING GLEN OAK COUNTRY CLUB!

Colleen and Wes got married a few weeks ago at Glen Oak Country Club. They had their ceremony at an outside gazebo and reception at the club as well.

Neal and I took Colleen and Wes away from the reception for a quick sunset photo shoot. There was a giant field with tall grass across from the club. The sun was lighting up the whole area with a nice golden glow. The sun was actually pretty powerful and we had to add some extra light on their faces. 

We had Wes take Colleen into his arms and go in for a kiss. They were glowing, the background was glowing, and it was beautiful! The sun rays in the corner of the image only add to the beauty of this image!

ROLLS ROYCE AT BANCHETTI

Happy Anniversary Jennifer and Tim! This was taken at the end of the night before we said our goodbyes.

Jennifer and Tim had a white Rolls Royce come to pick them up from their reception and drive them home! Of course, we needed to use it for photos. Their reception was at Banchetti by Rizzo's. We asked the driver to drive to the end of the parking lot, away from the lights of the reception. We needed it to to be really dark for this image. Once he was in the perfect spot, we set up some lighting. Jennifer and Tim were seated in the backseat of the Rolls. After testing out the lighting, we had them go in for a kiss! We used just enough lighting to light up Jennifer and Tim, without making it too bright. The lights from the inside, paired with the headlights, and the lights we set up behind the car did enough to give a nice glow to the wet parking lot! 

This is such a beautiful image and it was a great way to end the night! Happy Anniversary Jennifer and Tim!
