BRIDAL PORTRAIT AT JW MARRIOTT

This is Cara at the JW Marriott Resort and Spa in Las Vegas!

We stayed on the Resort grounds for some photos after the ceremony. There were some really pretty areas. We loved this spot with these unique trees. We decided to do some solos with Cara for this. We had Cara stand in a simple pose with her flowers. Then glance over her shoulder. It all works very well together with the lines of the trees and where she is looking. Sometimes the simplest of poses can create a beautiful bridal portrait.

We were given about 20 minutes for portraits before the reception started so that meant that we had to work FAST!! It was best that we stayed in one area to do the portraits. We had never been to this location before but once I saw this tree that's when I knew that this was "the spot". We did Cara solo, then all the girls, the girls solos with Cara and then we brought her husband in for a few shots. We got about 30 minutes worth of photos done within 5 minutes. That gave us time to work around the grounds a little bit more. We got Cara and Kevin back just in time for their introductions.

FATHER, DAUGHTER, MOTHER MOMENT

Here is Cara in Las Vegas with her mother and father.

This was Cara's first look with her father, after she was dressed. What a wonderful and emotional moment. After all of the laughs and tears, we did a more artistic image. We had Cara's mom fix her veil. Then we brought dad in for a kiss with his daughter.

The light pouring in from the room at the JW Marriott was amazing. It gave a nice light and airy feel. It was perfect for the moment!

While we were waiting....

Here is Cara! This was taken at the JW Marriott Resort and Spa in Las Vegas!

This was late after the reception had ended, close to midnight. Neal, myself and majority of the wedding party were waiting to catch a shuttle to the hotel on the strip. While we were waiting, Cara was dancing around the hotel in the hallway. The hallways were very long with some nice lighting from above. We had packed up all of our gear but Neal put together one of the cameras and used the natural lighting in the hallway. He directed Cara to stay close to the wall and had her walk like she was on the catwalk back and forth! Her bridesmaids were telling her to "strut her stuff!" and Cara was having a great time with it. This was one of the images he took! It looks like it was planned, but it was spur of the moment and happened within the matter of 30 seconds. Great job strutting your stuff Cara! :-)

WHEN DOVES FLY (IN LAS VEGAS)

Cara and Kevin got married at the JW Marriott Resort and Spa in Las Vegas! Right after their first kiss, they did a dove release.

 This was some heavy duty dove releasing too! Not only were there doves in the basket that Cara and Kevin opened, but 2 other baskets from each side behind them. There were doves everywhere! This is when you set the camera to burst mode and click away like crazy. It was all over in a matter of seconds. We managed to get some great images though!

Cara and Kevin had no idea what to expect either. Reactions from them and their guests were great! It is crazy, that the doves return back to their owner after a few minutes too!
