THEATRE DISTRICT FUN!

Gabe and Jeff were married on a cold November day. The days were getting shorter and it was getting darker pretty early.

They decided on having their wedding photos done in the Buffalo Theatre District! It was so pretty. All of the buildings were lit up and created amazing backgrounds. The Bijou Grille was calling our names to have photos taken in front. It was a really cute diner style grille on the outside.

Jeff was super tall compared to Gabe. We asked him to pick her up for this shot. Look at how high off the ground Gabe is! We had Gabe kick up her feet and show off her leopard print wedding shoes! She did an awesome job! Jeff looked like he could have held Gabe like that for a very long time! I love this!

BRIDE AND RING BEARER MOMENT

This is too cute for words! Here is Stephanie and one of her ring bearers having a laugh!

This was right after Stephanie got into her dress! This little guy came in and wanted to join in on the action. He was so handsome. Stephanie got down on his level and they had a quick chat. All of a sudden Stephanie started laughing at something he said. She was laughing so hard, her eyes started tearing. And I love this little cuties expression as well!

What a great moment! We love when little kids get involved. You never know what they are going to say or do! We always have to be ready to get the shot.

BRIDE SOLO

Take a look at this stunning image of Lindsey from her wedding back in September of 2011.

We stopped to see her groom Josh and grab a few snapshots before we headed next door to where Lindsey was getting ready at her parents. Yes, Lindsey and Josh temporarily lived next door to her parents. This worked our great for us. We only had to park once!

Time for a sit test after Lindsey was in her dress! We loved the furniture and decor for this image. I felt like we were in a bed and breakfast! Lindsey looked beautiful. I got her situated on the couch and spread her train out just a little. Then Neal had her glance down toward her dress. That was it!

BEAUTY AT THE OLD FORT

Yes we are bringing you back to Old Fort Niagara. Like I mentioned before, it is a popular location for us to shoot, but again, we found a new spot!

Erin and Dan got married in September of 2011. After working with the wedding party, we sent them back to the limo to party. It was time to get some nice and intimate photos with the lovely couple. We walked all over the Fort and came across this area. Does anyone else get a Diagon Alley from Harry Potter feel from this image? It’s probably just me!

Neal was looking around and saw that he could get a higher vantage point. You could tell he was really excited because he started running! I was below completely facing the couple. I did not see until after what Neal was going for. I loved it! I love how you can see more of the roof and some light from the sky!

GLEN OAK COUNTRY CLUB WEDDING

Rebecca and Matthew had a gorgeous day for their wedding in July of 2011 at the Glen Oak Country Club!

As you can see, it is sunset! The time when dinner salads are just being served and Neal casually asks the bride and groom to come outside for photos really quick. Don’t worry. All of our couples know during our first meeting that we may sneak them out if there is a great sunset happening. If we are excited, trust us! You will love the end result!

We took a quick walk over to where the sun was setting and the clouds were beginning to break. There was a giant open field with a great tree line in the back. We had Rebecca and Matthew walk just a few feet into the field. We did a quick series of poses with them. This was my favorite. We had Matthew kiss Rebecca on the forehead. She just started to laugh out of no where. It was a great moment. And it was worth stealing them for this awesome back drop!

NIAGARA SQUARE BRIDE

I love this solo of Katie from her wedding in July of 2011. She looks stunning!

Katie and Chad wanted some of their photos done at Niagara Square. If any of our readers know Katie and Chad, you know they are an extremely fun couple. Chad can put a smile on anyone’s face (so can Katie). However, we needed Chad to tag out for this photo!

Katie’s veil was amazing. I think she knew Neal loved long veils! We had Katie lean up against one of the pillars and glance down toward her flowing veil. I love how both her dress and veil look like they were flowing in the breeze. Just beautiful!

CENTERSTAGE AT SHEA'S

Spotlight on Alexis!

Alexis and Ryan were married in August of 2011. Their reception was at…can you guess… Shea’s Performing Arts Center.

We all arrived to Shea’s early to take more photos there. The reception was being held on the main stage. We asked Alexis to join us on stage. We wanted to get her in some action style shots. We had her have fun swinging around her dress and twirling. She did an amazing job interacting with her dress. It’s not everyday you can play in your wedding dress!

Everything about this image is stunning. Shea’s is a beautiful location. Adding Alexis in, made it even better!

I SEE YOU!

We showed you a dramatic photo of Stephanie and Michael at Old Fort Niagara earlier in the week. Well, we definitely needed to show you a fun one as well!

There is nothing like looking at your just married spouse through a view finder! Too bad none of us had quarters so they could actually see one another. All they could see was black. But that didn’t stop them from having fun with it.

Not all of our photos are crazy, artistic or dramatic. We do like to have fun with our couples. This is a prime example of all of us just having a great time.

A BRIDE AND HER HORSE

Earlier in the week, we showed you a fun image of Mike in a dance line, “Rockin the Boat,” at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens. Now we take you to his amazing wife Kristen.

Kristen and Mike had their photos taken at a private family residence. I bet you can guess what kind! There were a ton of horses and the grounds were so pretty. Kristen was going to take one of the beautiful horses for a leisurely stroll!

It was a bright and sunny day and the light was reflecting off the giant pond. Neal had Kristen walk behind the pond to get her reflection. This was more of a bonus. We really didn’t need to have it in the picture, but it made it more magical.

Good thing Kristen grew up around horses too! She did a great job and was so calm. I love how Kristen was completely up for doing this in her wedding dress. We were so happy to capture her in a place that meant so much to her.

JOHNATHAN, NICK, AND MOOSE

Oh, I do love photos with dogs. And Moose was so cute and a gentle giant.

Johnathan and Nick were married in September of 2011. We did their photos around Bidwell Park and the Elmwood Village. We had to make sure the location was dog friendly and what better area than Elmwood Village!

Moose just wanted to play. And how could we resist. It was time to get him moving and in action. We had Johnathan and Nick pretty much take him for a walk down the street. Well, Moose actually took them for a walk! We asked them to stop and look at each other. It was funny because Moose kept walking and had to come to an abrupt halt when his leash couldn’t go any further. He looked right at Neal and I with a look of “Really, why are we stopped.”
