JAMAICA SANDALS WHITEHOUSE WEDDING

This is an image from Rick and Leanne's wedding at Sandals White House European Village and Spa in Jamaica!

They had a very small and intimate wedding, with just a few family members and friends. They did not have your typical wedding reception with a giant dance floor and DJ. They saved that for a giant reception back home in Niagara Falls! However, they still did a first dance and all teary eyes were on them! 

This is a little different kind of image. At first glance, you may think it is dark and possibly gloomy feeling. But look closer! It shows so much emotion on Leanne's face as she dances with her husband Rick for the first time. We positioned a light behind them to cast a little glow around them. Then Neal just turned it black and white. It definitely made it more dramatic!

MATERNITY SHOOT IN JAMAICA

While shooting a wedding at Sandals White House, Jamaica, the Grooms sister in law was pregnant and asked us if we could do some quick maternity photos for her. We said no problem as long as the Bride and Groom did not care. The couple was all for it and said have fun!

While everyone was hanging at the pool, we took Crystal away to the beach for her shoot. We could not have asked for a better location. The water was a beautiful blue color, white sand, and the skies had some puffy clouds in the distance. Crystal had the perfect beach dress right over her bathing suit and a great beach hat. We took a walk away from guests and Neal got this shot. It felt like Crystal had the beach to herself! She is a fitness trainer and has competed in many competitions. She knew exactly how to pose! (Her husband is one of the owners of Primerano Fitness in Niagara Falls, NY)

Destination Wedding Photo Session: Sandals White House Jamaica

OMG, it's snowing!

Snow in spring!  That’s what happens living in Buffalo NY and why today’s image is a great choice.  We are all dreaming of being somewhere on a beach like this right now!

Rick and Leanne had their destination wedding at the Sandals WhiteHouse in Jamaica. I highly recommend going there!  What a beautiful location for a wedding!  Getting there was another story.  Flying out of Buffalo in March is always tricky.  There was a snow storm when everyone was to fly out, so all flights were cancelled.  All friends and family drove to either Baltimore or Pittsburg to catch a flight.  Neal and I rented a car and took the icy drive to Pittsburg to catch ours. It was all worth it in the end when everyone arrived safely in paradise to celebrate this wonderful couple’s wedding and new life together.

Rick and Leanne’s wedding took place around sunset right on the beach.  We couldn’t have asked for a better location. Right after the ceremony concluded, it started to rain.  Panic attack!  But a quick 5 minute downpour lead to this beautiful sunset.  It was impossible to take a bad shot.  This image was taken by Danielle Urban with all natural light.  The scenery was amazing!  All we needed was for Rick and Leanne to take their first walk down the beach as a married couple and capture the moment.

Rick and Leanne just celebrated their first anniversary a few weeks ago, so Happy Anniversary to them, and here’s hoping for some warmer sunny weather in the weeks to come!
