WEDDING DRESS FUN BUFFALO NEWBORN SESSION

Here is another image from baby Reagan's newborn session at Neal Urban Studio!

Reagan is here with her sister Jenna! Mom wanted to have her wedding dress included in some of the shoots. Why not have Jenna in the dress! It was so funny watching and trying to get Jenna to stand in mom's wedding dress. At first, she really didn't want to be in the "princess" dress. Then dad steps in and tries to get a foot in the dress to show her it's ok! After that, she was all smiles and posing.

Meanwhile, little Reagan was just sleeping away on top of the train of the dress! This was such a cute newborn session. I loved how we got to have both kids in some of the shots. I think this is my new favorite!

Vintage Buffalo Newborn Shoot

Well.. Isn't this just precious! Welcome baby Reagan! 

Reagan and the family visited Neal Urban Studio this week for newborn photos! I only just started to take a look at them, and we fell in love with this. We had to share right away! Look at that little tutu! She looks like a little puff ball! I love it!

After a few cries to start, Alyssa had Reagan super calm and fast asleep! We got to do a few different sets and series of images. It was great!

For this, the blue antique couch was calling out, "I need to be a part of this shoot." I knew when mom and I were in talks about ideas, this couch was going to be perfect for Reagan! We added in the chandelier and it brought such an elegant feel to the shot!

Reagan was definitely ready for her close up!

BABY ARMIN

Meet baby Armin!

What a cutie! This poor little guy was not feeling too great and was a little fussy. The only way to calm him at first was for someone to hold him. We started with some family portraits to keep body contact with Armin. 

A little side note.. We went to the clients house for this shoot. We normally do these in studio, but since our studio is and was under Christmas Session construction we had to make a change. 

Little did we know, the clients house was under construction too. But it worked out for the better for this photo. A vacuum was running and seemed to put Armin to sleep. When they shut if off, he was up. So, we asked the construction man to keep it running. And we got this cute image of Armin. He looks so peaceful!

HELLO WORLD!

"HELLO WORLD" from baby Emily! Here is another favorite from our shoot with Emily at Neal Urban Studio. This was an outfit that Katie brought for the shoot! I loved it!

Emily did the best pose too! We wanted her to look like she was cheering! She did a giant stretch and ended just like this. Perfect! And look at that little smile!

A LITTLE LADY AND HER HATS!

Look at this cutie! Meet baby Emily!

Emily and family came to visit us at Neal Urban Studio this past week. We photographed Mom and Dad's (Katie and Chad) engagement, wedding, their first baby (Matty), and now Emily. It was such a pleasure to capture this circle of life.

For Emily, we decided to have some fun with hats! You may wonder where this idea came from. After some Facebook stalking, a few years ago, Katie and Chad went to the Kentucky Derby. And if you know anything about the Derby, it is a time to shine with a new fun hat.

Well, I have never been, but I do love hats. I brought a bunch of mine and asked Katie if she could bring hers too. She told me that she had purchased one while they were at the Derby (bottom right). And a girl can never have too many accessories!

And here you go! Emily was such a great baby too. Thank you to our assistant Alyssa for helping out. She is just amazing with newborns!

TWIN GIRLS NEWBORN SESSION

It would only be natural to post an image from the twin girls newborn session we had today, since I built up a little excitement in yesterdays post.

So...Here you go! Meet Ruby and Maddie. Look at these little dollies! Aren't they the cutest? They were also so good. They both slept the entire time and had no accidents. I hope they were calm for mommy on the way home!

We had one of our newest assistants, Alyssa, help out today at Neal Urban Studio. She was amazing with these ladies. Ruby and Maddie loved her too! They both snuggled right up to her.

We used this chair in Christina and Josh's maternity session a month ago. We knew at that session, we wanted to use it somehow for the girlies. And I just love it. I think they did too. You can see it in Ruby's little smile! 

Congratulations Christina and Josh to these little bundles of joy!

FAMILY NEWBORN PORTRAITS

I absolutely loved our newborn/family session with Natalie, Joe, and baby Niall at Neal Urban Studio! You previously saw baby Niall on his daddies goalie pads! Wasn't that just too cute?!

Here are some simple but beautiful family portraits we capture during our newborn shoots!

Capturing these moments for first time parents is always amazing. Everything is new to them and they never know what to expect!

HOCKEY BABY!

Meet Baby Niall! Isn't he precious?! He has a great name too! He visited Neal Urban Studio on Wednesday. We had the pleasure of photographing his parents engagment, boudoir session, wedding, maternity session and now it was time for a newborn session!

We used to be exclusively wedding photographers but we wanted to continue our wonderful relationships that we build with our clients. This images is a prime example of why we upgraded our studio and staff so that we can continue to create special images like this for our clients.

Baby Niall's father is a hockey player. A goalie if you haven't figured it out by the goalie pads. He asked if we could incorporate some of his gear. And we sure did. Baby Niall was such a little guy and an amazing sleeper! He slept through it all! He didn't even flinch when we set him on the goalie pads!

If you haven't noticed by now, we like to incorprate items into our newborn sessions that are personal to the parents.

Cousin Sarah, (our baby whisperer) was with us again for this shoot too. She was amazing with him. 

We sure lucked out with this cutie! We can't wait for his one year photo session!

A Brand New package!

This is Maks! He came for his photo debut a few days ago to Neal Urban Studio.

He was just a little guy at about 5lbs. He was a great sleeper! We decided to bring in some different textures for his shoot. We found an old wooden pallet in our building and placed Maks in a flat basket. Because he was wrapped up all snug, we chose a more rustic style blanket to put under him. Maks did not want to keep his hand inside the wrap either. Whenever we tucked his hand inside he would immediately wake up. He automatically put his little hand up near his head. Why fight it? He looks so adorable and cozy that way!

BASEBALL BABY!

Here is sweet baby Nicolas! He came to visit Neal Urban Studio last week. 

Nicolas was such a curious little boy and did not want to sleep. All he wanted to do was look around and be a part of the conversation. Can you blame him! Even though he did not sleep too much for the shoot, we did get a few with him starting to doze off (before those gorgeous eyes snapped open)! His daddy is a huge baseball fan! He brought in some of his baseball things for us to incorporate. Nicolas looks so peaceful! I love it!

We got some great images of baby Nicolas. He was such a cutie!

I love when parents bring in some personal items for the shoots. Besides our creative ideas, we can use things that are meaningful to them as well!
