WEDDING AT THE MANSION ON DELAWARE

I am back this morning! Before we headed outside in the snow, Sarah and Aaron requested we do some photos inside the Mansion on Delaware!

The front rooms in the Mansion are beautiful both day and night. During the day, the light pours in the giant windows. At night, they light up from the street lights outside. Tonight, this room looked amazing with the snow falling.

Shane and I moved a little bit of the furniture, but kept the chairs and small table behind them. We also chose to keep the tree on the table. It looked great in the back ground. And it was super heavy to move. Now all we needed was a little extra light on Sarah and Aaron's faces. Shane was actually hiding in the corner with a light.

Then they leaned in and had a kiss!

ROCKIN' THE buffalo PHOTO BOOTH at Trimania 2015!

If you were not at Trimania last night or didn't stop into Neal Urban Studio, shame on you. What a great time. We had music blasting, uplighting, and an awesome photo booth!

Our booth was perfect for the day. Not only was our theme, "Party Like a Rockstar," but it was also "National Record Store Day." What better way to support both, but with a backdrop of old record album covers. This backdrop was made by Neal and I and has taken us over a year to find what we wanted. The final result was awesome!

There were about 3,000 people at Trimania. Our studio was packed all night. Once people saw the photo booth, they couldn't get enough. All they needed to do was put on some funky hats or glasses and click away at the camera. They could take unlimited amounts of photos. And you could have about 10 people at once. People started to get adventurous and were jumping, picking eachother up, and all different kinds of crazy things. We had a huge tv screen up that was doing a slide show of the images as guests were taking them. So, even if you didn't go in, you could watch and get some good laughs!

Thank you to all who came and supported the Buffalo Arts Studio (host of Trimania). And a huge thank you to everyone who visited Neal Urban Studio. We hope we provided you with an awesome experience. If you missed out, you have 2 years to make yourself available for the next!

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY...UNLESS YOU ARE NEAL URBAN!

One of the only parts of a wedding that cannot be controlled is the weather, especially in Buffalo. It could be 60 degrees one day and snowing the next. Just like the past few days.

It was gloomy and rainy on and off the entire day for this wedding at the Yodelers Lodge, in Ellicottville. The Bride and Groom knew there was nothing they could do about it and went with the flow. We assured them we would get something really cool and not to worry. The reception was coming to an end and the couple was having a great time with everyone on the dancefloor. So, Neal decided to take a walk outside and see if there were any awesome shot ideas. He grabs me and says he needs me to test out a shot before we get the couple. It starts pouring out and makes the idea even better. Neal wants the couple outside with an umbrella in the rain. It's sounds cliche, until the finished product!

We talk to the couple and tell them our idea. They are ready to tough it out and trust Neal's judgement. Neal and I get set up first. Neal has his camera and is ready to shoot, while holding an umbrella over himself covering the gear. I am ready with lighting and umbrella over myself. The newlyweds get into position and we get to work. Neal says it all looks great but, "Danielle we can see your umbrella. You need to lose it". Great... I knew the image was going to be awesome, so I couldn't argue. I threw it aside and got drenched. Let's just say the hour and a half ride home was not too comfortable. But the end result was amazing!
