STUNNING MOTHER TO BE

Jenna and Artie are having a baby! We did their maternity session last night at Tifft Nature Preserve. It was a gorgeous, sticky, hot night haha. But the images came out amazing.

I had to start with a solo of Jenna. She looked beautiful. I absloutely loved her dress. With Jenna being so tiny, having the dress tight around the belly was perfect. And then the super long train added such an elegant feel.

We did have a slight breeze. However, the material for Jenna's dress was a bit heavy. With some assistance (my waving of the dress to get some movement), we got the wind to catch and pick up the dress. Neal was ready to snap away as I let go of the dress. He was shooting at a lower level to incorporate some of the grass in the foreground. All Jenna had to do was look down toward her shoulder.

I am in love with this image!

BUFFALO SUNSET MATERNITY

I couldn't resist posting one more from Lindsey and Cory's maternity session at Woodlawn Beach State Park.

Would you look at this! Amazing sky, amazing light rays, amazing flowy dress, amazing couple! I can go on and on but it is too gorgeous for words. I love how intimate this pose is too. All hands and eyes on the belly, with Lindsey and Cory nice and close.

Since the sun was dropping pretty fast, we did need some extra light on their faces and bodies. But other than that, the back drop was all there!

WOODLAWN BEACH MATERNITY

We had an amazing maternity session last night with Lindsey and Cory at Woodlawn Beach State Park! Lindsey's only requests were dramatic skies and her dress flowing in the wind. Her requests were definitely met!

The skies were so pretty when we arrived at the Beach. Off in the distance, the clouds were a dark gray and moving our way. And it was super windy. It felt like a storm was on the way! The sun was also setting and parts of the sky were on fire. Lindsey had great dresses as well. The material was so lightweight. At times it was out of control!

We had her pose right on the waters edge. She brought a beach hat. I love accessories. Even though it was getting dark out, I still thought we should use it. We also needed a bit of fill light on her face. I really liked how her dress looked in this image too! I just love everything about it!
